"Stand for something or Fall for Anything"
2020 is set to be a break through year for NTANTU the Rapper. Over the passed five years the rapper formally known as Dave-O has been quietly developing a signature sound of Afro Pop, Rap, RnB and Dancehall, a fusion of styles and influences. In this period NTANTU was afforded the chance to sharpen his tools as a producer and songwriter within the industry.
NTANTU’s first introduction to the industry was in 2017 when he was invited as a VIP guest to represented UK Homegrown artists on the red carpet at the MOBO Awards held in his home town at Leeds' First Direct Arena.
Some months later he firmly planted his feet in the music scene with his self produced summer ‘18 smash “Love and Leave You”. He not only made shockwaves in his hometown, he also announced himself on the national stage as one to watch. Most recently being championed by BBC Introducing with his song of the week, he has also had notable co-signs from DJ’s Charlie Sloth, DJ Target, Twin B and Jay London.
Ending 2018 on a high, NTANTU opened up for DJ Danny-T at a sold out Leeds’ O2 Academy in front of a 2000 plus crowd. Over the years he has made a name for himself as a standout performer, most notably being billed on the same line ups as the likes of Wretch 32, Wiley, Lethal Bizzle, Ms Banks, Young T & Bugsey, and Becky Hill to name a few.
NTANTU is building more momentum with each single release, as he sets out to become one of the biggest music acts to come out of the North of England.
